Elax's Trash Can of Fan Mail

This is where I'll be posting my responses to whatever fan mail I get.
Because let's be real, some of this stuff is too good not to immortalize.

You can send me fan mail this month by simply sending an email to the same address that Alex uses. (fanmail@alexparr.net)
Just make it obvious that the mail is for me, otherwise you'll likely get a response from Alex instead.

Message: Elax, I hear your birthday is coming up, hope it's a good one! Thought I'd ask you what you're planning to do on your birthday? Whatever it is, enjoy the day!

Jack Lucas Caffrey
Response: Hey, thanks man. Your name sounds familiar for some reason... and after watching some of your stuff, so does your voice.
I don't usually plan these things out. Though if I were to...
Firstly, I'd probably fill Alex's room with bees. That'd be hilarious. Next, I'd probably buy some eggs to throw all around the neighborhood. Finally, I'd cap off the day with a quick trip to Disneyland! Hey, even I like to treat myself like that.

Message: Elax,if you had a game, which engine would you use?

Clickteam Fusion 2.5?

Multimedia Fusion 1.x/1.5 and 2.0?

Click and Create?

Multimedia Fusion Express?

The Games Factory?

Klik and Play?

Or any other engine?

The older engines are compatible with 95 and later and any engines works with SVGA cards through windib standard windows mode.
Response: I'm surprised you only listed the products that were developed by Clickteam. I guess Unity, Godot and Game Maker are just dead to you.
As for me, I'm using the most modern stuff that Alex happens to have on his PC; which just so happens to be the latest Clickteam Fusion.

Wilson's not a big joke! You just took it wrong! He's smart and don't convice me otherwise!
Response: Wow, great email! How much did he pay you to send this my way?

Subject: To Elax, again...
Message: Would your corner and mail pages stay, or will it get wiped out of existence?

Another question, did you know that with enough knowledge of the
program, you can make fully animated CGI MSAgents? Yes, it's true. I
made Kinito using pre-rendered sprites made in SFM.)
Response: The pages will still be up after October ends, though I won't be updating them. The button in Alex's main page will be removed though, so the only way to access the page then would be to manually type the URL (https://alexparr.net/elaxscorner) into the address bar.
Also I'm not sure why you're telling me this instead of the guy who actually makes this stuff, but yes, I'm fully aware. Heck, CosmicToons did something similar when making his new version of the Matt agent.

Subject: Game Development
Message: Dear Elax Peru,

Since Alex has been making video games for a while, have you ever considered making your own game? If so, what kind of game would you make? I'd like to hear your thoughts!

- Johnny (AngryBirdman03)
Response: Oh crap, I totally forgot about that thing!
Yes, I was making a game around the same time that I first took over Alex's site. As with Alex many times before though, I slacked off and completely forgot about it. I need to pick the project back up at some point.
Thanks for the question/reminder! I may or may not fulfill my promise. We'll see.

Subject: question related to doom (favorite MegaWad)
Message: dear elax P.

i may be knowing that you may not be awnsering this question in like ever but, if you were into stuff to something like doom (from '93) and doom 2 like i did ever since then, which MegaWad would you play the most? if so, what will it be?

...

sincerely, me (alex S.)

...

P.S.: unrelated to this doom-related question, would you also tell alex P. to remove any mentions of my super-old username from a "already-broken" ACS file (not to be confused with THE ACS used in other id tech 1 games like hexen) of somari's brother "tailuig" and maybe even remove my stupid excuse of a first crusty-GIF version of your appearence in microsoft agent since i do not want to be forever and terribly known for super-crappy and very, very terrible microsoft goanimate (yes i also like to refer this very thing in vain to one of the most things the goanimate community has ever injected upon, with it being placed next to plotagon due to the low-quality videos those "people" make) content anymore ever since i left that said community for real in december 2021? if not, then d'aw... :(
Response: I'll... just ignore that last part.
I seriously thought for a second that I received fan mail from Alex Parr. I suppose this isn't your first go-around with people confusing you for yellow-shirt, either.
Anyways, Alex did actually get me into some DOOM mods recently; specifically Reelism 2 and Mega Man 8-Bit Deathmatch since those are the two mods he most commonly plays. I'm not sure if those count as "MegaWads"—whatever the heck that means—but I suppose I'd have to go with those two. At least, until I go further down the rabbit hole.

Message: (please ignore my mom’s email)

Dear Elax Peru,

If you were to takeover Alex’s YouTube channel, or make a separate YouTube channel, what kind of videos would you make?

Sincerely, Nicky.
Sent from my iPhone
Response: You could afford an iPhone, but not your own email address? Really?
As for your question, I actually do have a YouTube channel, though it's pretty much dead at this point. The last time I used it was like 6 years ago; back when Alex's Odd Life was still a thing. Even then, I only ever uploaded like 2 videos to it.
If you're really that curious though, I suppose you can check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/@elaxperu
Be warned though, there's an instance of blood in one of the videos. I know some of you are squeamish to that kind of stuff. That being said, perhaps I could make another video at some point; I'm not sure what it would be about though...

Subject: Computer virus
Message: Dear Elax Peru...

If you could make a computer virus, what kinda stuff would it do to infect computers?

- Kaie
Response: An interesting question. Well, for one, I'd probably make it install bloatware to make it run about as slow as an HP; assuming the victim is currently using a reasonable computer. Maybe I could also make it torrent like 50,000 pirated things without a VPN. Ooh, and perhaps it could also shoot the victim in the head! I doubt you'd survive something like that again...
Now all I need to do is contact this Leurak guy and I can make my dream virus a reality! Thanks for the question, Kaie!

Subject: Question for Elax.
Message: Your spooky month tradition is taking over Alex's site? Oh whatever,
here's the real question. Who would you dress up as on Halloween?
Response: Well, I would dress up as the year 2020 again, but I'm pretty sure everyone doesn't consider it that scary anymore. So I've decided to dress up as an AI art generator this year. That'll scare 'em.
